A. Consider approving the minutes of the special Redevelopment Agency meeting of
August 12, 2008.

Ridenour absent) approving the minutes of the special Redevelopment Agency
meeting of August 12, 2008.
CONSENT
B. Consider approving the Report to the Council regarding the Amendment to the
Amended Modesto Redevelopment Plan and submitting the Proposed Amendment and the
Report to the City Council for consideration and approval. (Funding: Not
Applicable)
• Resolution of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Modesto submitting to
the Modesto City Council the proposed Amendment to the Amended Redevelopment
Plan for the Modesto Redevelopment Project, and the Agency’s Report to the City
Council on the proposed Amendment, setting a public hearing and consenting to
and requesting the City Council call a Joint Public Hearing on said Amendment
recommended.
• Motion setting a public hearing and requesting that the Modesto City Council
set a joint public hearing in conjunction with the Agency’s public hearing to be
held on October 28, 2008 recommended.

Chairperson Ridenour absent) of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Modesto

Redevelopment Plan for the Modesto Redevelopment Project, and the Agency’s
Report to the City Council on the proposed Amendment, setting a public hearing

C. Consider approving an agreement with the City of Modesto for the purchase of
City-owned real property at 416 Downey Avenue for the “Downey Avenue Project”
for the fair market value of $520,000 plus one-half of the closing costs.
• Resolution approving an agreement with the City of Modesto for the purchase of
City-owned real property at 416 Downey Avenue for the “Downey Avenue Project”
for the fair market value of $520,000 plus one-half of the closing costs, and
authorizing the City Manager or his designee, to execute the agreement and
related documents recommended.
• Resolution amending the Redevelopment Agency budget to re-appropriate $225,000
from project 9060-140-Q244-6030 to a new CIP 9060-140-K74X-6030, Downey Avenue
Acquisition recommended.
