District 2 - David Geer

Biography

Dave Geer was elected to the City Council in November 2009. Council member Geer has been a Modesto resident since 1987 and previously served on the Community Qualities Forum, Stanislaus County Civil Grand Jury, and the Yosemite Community College District “Measure E” Bond Oversight Committee. He retired from Livermore National Laboratory in May 2010 after 24 years of service. And has served in the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, the National Guard and the USAR.
