Councilmember - Stephanie Burnside

Biography

Stephanie Burnside was appointed to District 5 of the City Council in November 2010. She has been a Modesto resident for over 10 years. Since that time she has been very involved in the community through Modesto Rotary, the American Cancer Society, the Haven Women’s Center and various other groups. As a Council member, Stephanie is committed to the creation and sustainability of local jobs, public safety and making prudent financial decisions.

Stephanie co-owns a small local business, is a graduate of Merced Junior College and attended Chapman University. She attends Modesto Covenant Church with her husband, Brent, and their two daughters.
