The McHenry Museum will host the year’s first “Saturday Afternoon at the Museum” event for children ages 5-12 on Saturday, March 20, from 1-3 p.m. at the McHenry Museum, 1402 I Street. The theme is “Down on the Farm.”
Children will learn about farm life in Stanislaus County during the early 1900s. Docents in period costumes will be available at exhibits to share information and answer questions. Activities include a scavenger hunt, story telling and a craft; supplies are limited. Refreshments will be served.
The event is free. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
