City of Modesto, California News Release

The City of Modesto Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department will offer Kidz Love Soccer – where the score is always fun to fun!  Children will learn the fundamentals of soccer through a non-competitive, age-appropriate format.  These instructional soccer classes taught by professional staff in the Kidz Love Soccer format are available for boys and girls ages 2-12 years of age.  Shin guards are required for all classes except Mommy/Daddy & Me. 

The registration fee for nine sessions is $90. Classes will meet on Saturdays, April 3 through June 5, at Woodrow Park, 3101 Sherwood Avenue, at the following times:

     • Mommy/Daddy & Me (2-3.5 years):  1:30-2 p.m.
     • Tots Soccer (3.5-4 years):  2:15-2:45 p.m.

     • Pre-Soccer (4-5 years):  2:45-3:10 p.m.
     • Level 1 (5-6 years):  3:20-4:05 p.m.
     • Level 2 (7-8 years):  4:05-4:50 p.m.
     • Level 3 (9-12 years):  4:05-4:50 p.m.
