Earth Day in the Park – Earth Day in the Park is one of Modesto’s largest annual events,
with upwards of 15,000 in attendance, weather permitting. The event takes place in Graceada Park and offers

Bike to Work Day – Bicyclists commute to downtown Modesto from various locations throughout the
city. A free continental breakfast is provided for all bicycle commuters. The first 125 bicycle commuters receive

Veterans Parade – The Veterans Day Parade in downtown Modesto is organized by local vets to

Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony – Modesto's official Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony is held
