This program provides financial and technical
assistance to repair or eliminate critical
health and safety hazard conditions in homes, and to
provide assistance for disabled persons in making their homes more accessible.
The home must be located within the Modesto city limits and
the applicant's total household income must meet the
required eligible income limits for the program. The HRP/DAP is only available to owner-occupants. Types of eligible repairs are roofing,
weatherization, heating, plumbing, electrical, ramps, handrails, widening of doorways, and much more. Financial
assistance is in the form of low-interest loans.

The Minor Home Repair Grant Program provides a grant
to owner-occupants for essential minor repairs to their
homes or mobile homes. There is a one-time household
grant limit of $2000.
The home or mobile home must be located within the
Modesto city limits and the applicant's total household
income must meet the required eligible income limits for
the program. Types of eligible repairs include water heaters, leaking faucets, broken toilets, furnace repairs, small electrical hazards, grab bars, wheelchair
ramps, repair of mobile home steps, cracked or broken windows and energy conservation improvements.
