The First Tee of Central Valley is in full swing.
This is a nationally recognized junior golf program with
emphasis on teaching children life skills as well as
golf skills. Participants learn how to swing the club,
the rules of the game, and how to behave on the golf
course.
The First Tee program is dedicated to providing children
from all walks of life the opportunity to develop
life-enhancing values through the sport of golf. When
kids enter the program to learn golf, they also learn
the nine core values of honesty, integrity,
sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility,
perseverance, courtesy and judgment.
